We facilitate weight shift control instruction, ultralight and sport pilot, for Air Creation USA.

Scheduling in the winter begins at 7:00AM for the early birds and continues through the afternoon with winter soaring flights that are available only in the desert southwest.  Our sunset flights begin at 5:00PM.

Spring and Fall scheduling begins at 6:00AM and continues through 6:00PM.

Summer scheduling begins at 5:00AM and continues through 7:00PM.

Scheduling should be done as soon as you know your dates and time.  This will help ensure service at your convenience. 

We provide intercom helmets, gloves and flight suits for your flight.                     
You will fly the state of the art TANARG and iXess by Air Creation.                        

We provide instruction for sport pilot and advanced training for                        Soaring, Cross-Country, Floats, Ski, Towing and Instructor.

Lodging:
Furnished room at airport with desert vista, kitchen, big screen TV, E-mail.
Close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.  We also have RV hook-ups, camping, showers, and coin laundry. (Please call for reservations)

Ground School:
5 - 10 hours done in conjunction with your flight instruction. This instruction is specific to weight shift aircraft principles, operations and procedures.


Dual Flight Instruction - WSL (Weight Shift Land):You will need a minimum of 15 hours of dual flight instruction to meet the minimum for sport pilot, typically 2 -3 hours a day. We have no prerequisite hours to Solo. Solo is based on competency not time. Please call for scheduling 
 

You will need to log a min. of 5 hours solo also to meet the minimum for sport pilot. You will need to log a min. of 20 hours solo before being checked out to train in unstable conditions or wind over 10 mph as well as our high performance aircraft. You must meet the financial requirements of replacing the aircraft in the event you do not return it in the value condition you took it, before solo training.

CFI Training
For sport pilot CFI you will need at least 150 hours flight time as a pilot. which includes 100 hours of flight time as pilot in command in powered aircraft, 50 hours of flight time in a weight-shift- control aircraft, 25 hours of cross-country flight time, 10 hours of cross-country flight time in a weight-shift- control aircraft, and 15 hours of flight time as pilot in command in a weight-shift- control aircraft that is a light-sport aircraft.

Ultralight Association Pilot Endorsement:
Eligibility: Have a minimum of 10 hours dual and at least 3 solo hours.
Requirements: Pass the practical and oral test. Pass ultralight pilot written test with at least 75% correct answers.

Privileges: Operate a single seat aircraft for the purpose of recreational flying weighing no more than 254 lb. With a fuel capacity of no more than 5 gallons and top speed that does not exceed 55 knots and a power off stall speed that does not exceed 24 knots. In accordance with FAR 103
